how to rebloom

Look, it reblooms! I got this four months ago on Valentine’s Day.

I’m not great with plants, I don’t make plants rebloom. I water it as best I can, put it in some light. I help provide some of the conditions in which the plant grows on its own.

I don’t make people rebloom either, because it is your inherent life force that does it.

But what I do is explore with you what you need, help get the needs met, support you through this hard season in your life. We will find your inner strength, resilience, and power to grow yourself into new blooms.

My logical brain wants to find a step-by-step solution to problems and get us to a happy life once and for all. But as I look to nature as a role model, I see that this process is not linear or neat like that. Here’s a bloom among dying leaves, and dying leaves among healthy leaves.

As people, we are also in constant evolution and can inhabit multiple phases of change at the same time. Parts of us can be falling away, while new ones are in the making.
